At the same time that I was collaborating on externally produced videos, I was setting up capabilities to produce videos internally to save on costs. I started by working with leadership and strategists to concept ideas and create storyboards. After finalizing the big picture, it would be handed off to our animation specialist, who brought it to life. It would then go through final adjustments and go live.
We had the majority of those videos on Meta. However, we did get a chance to produce three commercials in 2024 that broadcasted on network TV.
Enter UCare's Brain Breaks: The year was 2024. Elections were right around the corner, at the same time as most peoples' healthcare election period. People needed a break from all of the election ads. Our marketing manager had a vision of babies and puppies, and it was up to us to execute on it. However, we also thought at least one of these videos needed to be branded UCare, which is how "Breathe" came about. Fairly easy to execute, but big returns when it aired.
